Porsche 918 Spyder Prototype [CARS]

Porsche just showed off the first glimpse of their new prototype, the 918 Spyder.  This hybrid supercar will be equipped with both a 4.6-liter V8 engine and an electric motor on the front axle and an electric motor on the rear axle which will have the power to produce 759 horses, a 0-60 mph time in under 3 seconds, and a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).

The prototypes focus "on the interplay between the highly sophisticated individual drive components."

The 918 Spyder will go into production in 2013 for a late 2013/early 2014 delivery date.  No price has been announced yet.
